Who we are

What we collect

• Enquiry forms: name, email, optional consultation interest, venture stage, and message content.
• Correspondence: emails and notes related to potential or active engagements.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) and, if you accept analytics cookies, aggregated visit statistics.

We do not ask for payment card numbers through this site. We do not seek sensitive information unrelated to planning enquiries.

Why we use it

To respond to enquiries, prepare engagement letters, deliver consultations, improve the site, and meet legal obligations. Lawful bases under the Privacy Act 2020 include collecting information for a lawful purpose connected with our consulting functions and, where required, your consent for optional analytics cookies.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months if no engagement follows, unless you ask us to delete sooner and we have no legal need to retain them. Engagement files are retained for at least seven years for accounting and professional records, then reviewed for deletion or anonymisation.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers who host email or site infrastructure under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law. Advisors you invite into a joint session receive only what you authorise.

International transfers

Some hosting or email providers may process data outside New Zealand. Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable safeguards, consistent with the Privacy Act 2020.

Your rights

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. You may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz). To exercise rights, email info@nextgencloudtech.digital.
